IRAQI Professor Executed by American Forces
Press Statement Regarding the Execution of a Professor at the University of Tikrit College of Medicine
PRESS RELEASE
American occupation forces committed a brutal crime, to add to its long records of gross violations against Iraqis, by killing a professor at the University of Tikrit College of Medicine.
On Monday, March 7, eye witnesses from the victim’s family confirmed that the occupation forces carried out an air strike on the Allazaka village of Hawija southwest of Kirkuk, and raided the house of Dr. Iyad Ibrahim Mohammed, Professor at the college of Medicine at University of Tikrit, and shot him dead in front of his family, and proceeded to arrest his brother stating that the occupation forces took the body of a university professor and his brother to one of its bases in Salahuddin province, without providing any real reasons for this heinous crime.
Since 2003, the American barbaric forces has committed thousands of similar, brutal crimes and violations affecting various segments of Iraqi society, added to the arrest of tens of thousands of innocent citizens. The Association of Muslim Scholars condemns this atrocious crime, which demonstrates the extent of recklessness that has characterized the occupation forces while falsely claiming that they are advocates of Human Rights in the world. The Association holds the occupation forces and the current government fully responsible for this and other similar crimes and gruesome violations.

ارتكبت قوات الاحتلال الأمريكية أمس جريمة وحشية جديدة تضاف إلى سجلها الأسود المليء بالجرائم والانتهاكات الصارخة ضد العراقيين، بقتلها أستاذا بكلية الطب بجامعة تكريت . وأكد شهود عيان من أهالي الضحية أن قوات الاحتلال المسعورة نفذت أمس الاثنين إنزالا جويا على قرية (اللازاكة ) التابعة لقضاء الحويجة جنوب غرب مدينة كركوك، واقتحمت منزل الدكتور ( إياد إبراهيم محمد ) أستاذ كلية الطب بجامعة تكريت، وأطلقت عليه النار أمام عائلته فاردته قتيلا في المكان، كما أقدمت على اعتقال شقيقه ..موضحين أن قوات الاحتلال أخذت جثة الأستاذ الجامعي وشقيقه معها إلى إحدى قواعدها بمحافظة صلاح الدين، دون معرفة الأسباب الحقيقية لهذه الجريمة النكراء . يذكر أن قوات الاحتلال الأمريكية الهمجية اقترفت منذ احتلالها الغاشم لهذا البلد الجريح عام 2003آلاف الجرائم المماثلة والانتهاكات الصارخة التي طالت مختلف شرائح المجتمع العراقي إضافة إلى اعتقال عشرات الآلاف من المواطنين الأبرياء . إن هيئة علماء المسلمين إذ تدين هذه الجريمة البشعة التي تدلل على مدى الاستهتار الذي وصلت إليه قوات الاحتلال التي تدعي زورا وبهتانا أنها الراعي لحقوق الإنسان في العالم، وتحمل الهيئة قوات الاحتلال والحكومة الحالية المسؤولية الكاملة عنها وعن مثيلاتها من الجرائم والانتهاكات الشنيعة. ا
